Welcome to Regard |
I am delighted to welcome you to the Regard website. Here, you will find information on the flexible, personalised support that we provide for people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs or Acquired Brain Injuries across more than 120 supported living services and residential care homes in England and Wales.
When I co-founded Regard with Director John Webster in 1994, our primary aim was to empower Service Users to shape their own lives and the services they receive from us, whether through our supported living, domiciliary care or residential care services. Today, this ethos remains stronger than ever, as we continue to look for new ways to help each Service User achieve their full potential, on their terms.
Our bespoke services are designed to support individuals with a wide range of complex needs. These include outreach services, such as domiciliary care and specialist care and support for adults with Acquired Brain Injuries in parts of the South East in their own homes. We also provide services for children with Learning Disabilities and emotional and behavioural issues, including specialist education provision.
In addition to this, we can draw on the expertise of our Positive Behavioural Support Service, which uses a person-centred approach to design and implement short and long-term intervention and support strategies to manage and minimise challenging behaviour.
Please take the time to look through our website and the range of support we are able to offer – and if I or the rest of the team can be of any assistance then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can find our contact details here.
