Quality at our core

In accordance with the framework set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England and the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) in Wales and The Office for Standards in Education, Children Services, Skills (Ofsted) as well as our own robust internal quality assessment processes, we are dedicated to maintaining high standards.

The Regard carries out quality audits every 4 weeks at every service address, as well as yearly service level risk assessments and six-monthly health and safety visits. Our systems ensure that the resultant reports are produced on a professional and objective basis, with no manager ever assessing their own service.

CQC’s latest inspection proved that the quality of our services is well above the national average.

  • 91 percent of our services are rated as excellent or good compared to the national average of 78 percent.

Service Users are actively involved in checking and monitoring service quality.

At Regard, we recognise that staff training and development is pivotal in providing the best care and support. Our training systems are a vital part of maintaining our ISO accreditation and Investors in People status.

We are committed to providing our employees with a personal development plan right from their first day, with ongoing training covering a wide range of expertise and competences. This ensures staff are equipped to handle any situation.

We also offer training to Service Users to enable them to be actively involved in all aspects of service delivery, service quality and health and safety.
