We are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker at Dove House, Slough.
Dove House is a Supported Living 4 bedded provision for adults with Learning Disability.
An NVQ Level 3 in Social Health and Care (or willingness to work towards one) is also a requirement for this post.
Experience in shift leading and supervising staff would be preferable.
The successful applicant will be joining a skilled, experienced, and supportive team with extensive experience of the current residents and client group.
You will need to be flexible, reliable and able to use your own initiative.
Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities and associated health conditions such as Learning Disabilities and/or including physical disabilities is desirable.
Management skills and a working knowledge of computer programs such as Office/Excel/Word/, and a willingness to learn company platforms to input and record data such as timesheets is essential.
The skills and capacity to manage the service in the absence of the manager, is required.
As well as being able to work under pressure, while insuring the health, safety, and well-being of both the residents and the staff team.
A clean driving license is essential.
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and two references, one of which must be from your current or most recent employer.
