We require Senior Support Workers to work at one of our residential services based in Mitcham.
Rosebank Lodge is a residential home supporting young adults with learning disabilities who may also have associated complex behavioural needs, epilepsy and or autism.
We provide 24 hour support to adults with learning disabilities, in a very relaxed and homely setting.
A full driving license preferred but not essential.
You will be required to provide care and support personalised to each Service User in line with their Care Plan.
You will contribute to the creation of a supportive environment in which staff and Service Users can develop, learn and grow.
Undertake care and managerial tasks as required, including deputising for the Service Manager in their absence.
You will work within the team to provide individual high quality person-centred care to Service Users, supporting each to reach their optimum potential
Support is tailored to reflect individual need with a focus on developing independent living skills and the possible future pathways to supported living 24 hours of shared support, including night support.
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and two references, one of which must be from your current or most recent employer.
An NVQ Level 3 in Social Health and Care is required.
