Big changes at Beudygwyn Farm

Beudygwyn Farm on Anglesey is currently undergoing somewhat of a transformation. The previously unused kitchen area in the office block has been redecorated, transforming it into a bright and modern communal meeting area.

The new facility is used on a daily basis by Service Users for coffee mornings, a catch up on all the latest news and also to take part in activities and games of their choice.

Externally, a chicken coup has been erected with new chickens in place and egg production firmly established. Never before have so many variations of omelette been on the menu!

The Shetland pony has been rehoused in a stone stable with a new paddock which is visible to Service Users enjoying their coffee in the activity centre.

Service Users and staff have been involved in numerous meetings, putting forward suggestions and agreeing on uses for the other areas within the farm. Already a digger has been hired to demolish the old stable blocks with a view to creating a farm shop and outdoor seating area. It’s an exciting time with big plans in place. Watch this space…
