A two storey house with adjoining annexe in the Huntingdon area providing home to 7 tenants all holding a tenancy and supported by experienced and well trained staff team, this service aims to provide an active support programme determined by the individual personalised needs of those living there. The service is split into a 5 bedroom house and a two bedroomed annexe.
Specialist Expertise
The staff are fully trained and experienced in working to enhance life opportunities.
The service is currently home to people with complex needs, particularly on the Autistic spectrum and including high levels of communication difficulties and thus has the support of a communication specialist in determining individual specialist programmes of support and communication pathways.
Huntingdon Supported living has a philosophy of person centered support, giving choice, independence, and encouragement enabling the service users to develop and maintain skills to give them the freedom to be as independent as possible and to reach their potential and fulfill their dreams. Supporting new opportunities for achievement with informed choices and managed risks so that there is a continuous path of progress.
We work with multi disciplinary teams, actively encouraging families to be involved and all professionals who are identified as needed to support an individual within their care and support package.
