Bury

Bury is a 24 hour Supported Living Service. It is a large, detached, two storey house situated in Radcliffe, Manchester. The service is a short walk from all local amenities and a short bus journey into the Radcliffe’s town centre. The service is also accessible to public transport where buses are situated very close and a Tram station is within easy walking distance too. The Famous Bury Market and the Main City of Manchester can easily be accessed by bus or Tram.

Specialist Expertise

The project aims to provide specialized support for Individuals with ASD, Learning Disabilities and associated Mental Health as directed by a needs led assessment to individuals in their own service. The staff team support individuals in a positive manner whilst treating them with respect and dignity.. The project will work alongside the individual and others that are ‘important’ to the individual to develop a Person Centred Support plan. The project also supports individuals to take ‘managed risks’. All support Plans are in a format appropriate to the Services Users needs.

About the Property

There are seven single bedrooms, two of which are en suites. Service Users are encouraged to personalise their rooms to reflect individual tastes. The communal areas of the service comprise of a large lounge, two separate bathrooms with shower facilities also, separate dining area and large kitchen with a smaller ‘training kitchen’ for 1-1 tasks. The service also benefits from a large patio area and well-maintained garden.
