The service is for adults with mental health /learning disabilities. We also work with clients experiencing early onset and vascular dementias. The service is a minimum support service delivering upto 3 hours of support per day tailored to the priority needs identified. The team consists of Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Service Co Ordinator and overseen by a Service Manager. Service Users are supported to live as independently as possible using person centred planning.
Specialist Expertise
A trained staff team support the service each day. Staff are trained in all areas ranging from Safeguarding, health and safety, Infection control to more specialist training such Autism, Deaf awareness and challenging behaviour. Independence is promoted to establish a solid base for integration into the community. Service users have tailor made support plans which are used to support them with all aspects of their care and support.
Services Offered
Regard is a specialist domiciliary care service for people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Associated Disabilities, assessments can be used when assessing new individuals and preparing their person centred plan. We provide a bespoke care plan for each individual from the time that they are referred to us through a planned progression. this helps service users relearn skills required for daily living.
