Our Cecil Court supported living service provides opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions to be tenants and live in their own flats within a 24/7 supported environment.
Set in rural village amid a stunning countryside location, the service, for a maximum of 8 individuals, provides 24 hour support, promotion of independence and integration into the community.
This service specialises in supporting people who require support to make choices and decisions in their lives. The team work with the person to enable them to make sure that the decisions they make are self determining and result in enabling and encouraging them to have confidence in making choices and enhance and further their daily living skills, using outcome focused care and support.

Our Services Offered
Everyone living at the Cecil Court is actively involved in all decisions in relation to the running of their home and personal life.
People are involved in:
- Budgeting
- Staff matching
- Quality checking and health and safety
- Changes to living environment
- Development of service delivery
- Self-assessment through person centred planning
- Attending Day opportunities which are many and varied, from horse riding, swimming and rambling to photography and local history studies.
- Individuals can also attend a nearby weavery and pottery studio, renowned in the local area for producing high quality articles. Individuals are actively encouraged to integrate with the local community and several individuals have been supported to take on part time jobs.
We have experience of supporting people with direct payments, self-directed support, personal budget, individual service funds and privately funded.
Anyone using our supported living service can expect to be respected as a tenant in their own right and receive housing-related support from the landlord. We have trained and experienced staff to ensure that individuals feel safe and secure in their own home and within the community, so that they can enjoy an active life there.
About the Property
Cecil Court is a new supported living service in the beautiful village of Cranborne n Dorset. It is for 8 people who receive 24/7 care and support according to their individual needs. The service has been developed from what was originally sheltered housing for older people and the new studio flats each with their own bathroom and kitchen have all been modernised and decorated to a high standard. There are 24/7 staff on site and a separate office and communal area in addition to the all individuals flats.
