Bridge Terrace is a mid terrace house, situated in the town of Newbridge. It is close to local bus links and a train station accessing all the train routes in the South of Wales. There are numerous shops, pubs, and café’s. Local amenities including a library, dentist and optician and several Health Centres are close by.
Specialist Expertise
Specifically for service users that require support with drug, alcohol and substance misuse. As the service is registered with Supporting People the emphasis on support is to enable service users to maintain a tenancy and fully integrate with community resources. This service would suit a person that needs a step down facility from Residential Care into a more independent setting. We support service users to maximise their benefits, manage their finances, and pay their bills whilst giving them the protection as required as vulnerable adults within their community. As we also have a registered care agency we are also able to support prospective service users with medication and personal care.
Our Services Offered
Where appropriate we are fully involved in the CPA process and work closely with the social care team and the local CPN’s. we work alongside the service user to produce a care plan that they manage and we assist the service users create a recovery plan that is produced and led by the service user at their pace. Our staff team is trained to work specifically with mental health and mental illness diagnosis. We currently provide minimal support at the property but have the facility to provide a 24 hr service if this is an assessed need.
About the Property
The home has two spacious singly occupied rooms. These rooms contain modern furniture and are well decorated. On the ground floor there is a lounge, through dining room and kitchen. The first floor has three single bedrooms, bathroom including shower and staff sleep-in room. There are no areas inaccessible to mobile residents so that a homely atmosphere is maintained.
