Supported living services for individuals with Learning Disabilities

We are committed to empowering individuals with Learning Disabilities by enabling them to develop daily living skills and relationships, as well as increasing their confidence. We are committed to empowering ind ividuals with Learning Disabilities by enabling them to develop daily living skills and relationships, as well as by increasing their confidence. Our step down models make it possible for people to transition through the different levels of service we offer towards increased independence.

Through individually tailored packages of care and support, Service Users can build the skills required to move from residential care to supported living and, eventually, to their own flat, where they can be supported by our outreach services.

The Regard Partnership’s services are focused around the Service User, enabling them to make their own choices and live the lives they choose.

Individuals are assisted in positive risk taking, so they actively increase their confidence and move towards their goals in small, achievable milestones. We encourage individuals to take part in leisure services and enable them to build up their skills to get a job or access educational opportunities.

We also offer Service User led groups and provide any training required for individuals to participate. These enable Service Users to become QA checkers or health and safety representatives, be involved in recruitment panels, or to support other Service Users in making decisions.

We employ a variety of different communication tools, so that we know what an individual’s needs are, even if they have speech/language difficulties.
