Shelden Drive is a lovely five bedroom detached bungalow set in the heart of Rainham. This property has a multitude of community facilities very close-by, including supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, leisure centres, and many more. The home has excellent rail and roads links; the railway station and bus stops are within easy walking distance, providing excellent access to other towns and shopping centres nearby. Plus good links to London and the coast.

On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, spacious lounge, kitchen bathroom and separate, toilet. All bedrooms are decorated to personal taste and requirements. The large garden is enjoyed by all as a hub of social activity during the summer months.

The first floor houses a charming individual studio flat which consists of a large bedroom with built-in cupboard space, its own bathroom with overhead shower and a small kitchenette. This is an excellent resource for tenants who are in the process of preparing for a move onto independent living.

  • High quality support which is tailored to reflect individual need. This is achieved through our ‘Outcome Focused Person Centered Plans’ and we closely follow the Government’s ‘Valuing People’ criteria which ensures that we respect tenant’s rights, inclusion, choice, and independence at all times.
  • 24 hours a day shared support; which currently includes sleep-in support. 1:1 support for specific identified assessed needs. We can evidence reduction in 1:1 support hours as tenants gain new skills and greater independence.
  • Support is structured to ensure that the individual has the opportunity to access a full range of social activities within the community e.g. football, cinema swimming and local clubs and where possible employment opportunities and access to local colleges.
  • A well motivated and enthusiastic trained staff team, trained in NVQ, Supported Living, Epilepsy and all the core mandatory training requirements. Specialist training will be provided to meet individual assessed need if required. Support individuals in accessing appointments with all health care professionals. We have positive working relationships with local housing department, health professional from community learning disability teams and families. We provide outreach support for tenants now living locally in the community (whom once lived at Shelden Drive).
