Current Profile of Service: Wrottesley Road can accommodate six people, with one on the ground floor and five on the first floor. Communal lounge, dining, kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Hours Provided: This service would be suitable for anyone moving from residential care or their family home who needs a transition before moving in to more independent living environments. The service provides 24-hour background core support including a sleep-in night member of staff and background staff during the day. Individuals are assessed for 1:1 hours.

Focus of Service: We develop a package of support based on an individual’s assessed needs. By managing their risk, we support people to achieve their outcomes.

Situated on Wrottesley Road, North West London is a spacious 1950’s house that has 6 single rooms arranged over 2 floors. The property has a garden, a shared kitchen, large lounge/dining room. Located in a quiet residential area in the heart of Harlesden the property is ideally situated to the local shops, amenities and to good transport links. Individuals will hold their own tenancy with the Landlord and the rent would typically be claimed through Housing Benefit.

We adopt a whole person approach by working with the service user to take all areas of their life, that are important to them, into consideration. The service user can adopt a self management approach to managing their lives as they make plans in their own language and in their own words. We Offer:

24 hours a day shared support; including night support.

1:1 support for specific identified assessed needs which vary from person to person

Full inclusive needs support planning, care needs and risk assessments by a well trained staff team, experienced with working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs.

Our aim to decrease 1:1 support hours as skills are further developed and greater independence gained where possible

Support is structured to ensure that the individual has the opportunity to access a full range of activities within the community including where possible employment opportunities and access to local colleges.

An energetic and enthusiastic trained staff team.

Supporting individuals in accessing appointments with all health care professionals.

Outreach support for those able to move on providing continuity of support.

Paul Emile is the Registered Manager of this service.He is supported by an enthusiastic staff team who have many years of experience working in this field. Staff have attended specialist training such as managing challenging behaviours, drug and Alcohol awareness and mental Health as part of their continuing training and development.

Bright start to the new year for Anne Marie from Wrottesley Road

Anne Marie, who has learning difficulties, moved into a Willesden residential home as an emergency placement just before Christmas 2015, she is looking forward to a New Year which sees her with better prospects than she’s ever had before, according to her social worker.
