Last week, Byfield Court hosted an event as part of ‘Regard’s Afternoon Tea Week 2018’.

Across Regard, a number of services hosted tea parties to raise money for Shelter and Shelter Cymru.

The colour associated with Shelter is red and so the team at Byfield Court embraced this and hosted an entirely red themed event. Everyone wore red clothing, and the people who live at the service helped to make and decorate cakes, some also helped to decorate the room in the colour theme.

Deputy Manager, Terri said “I was at the tea party, we got in to the real spirit with using tea pots and tea cups. All staff and people we support made the effort to promote colour theme for Shelter and wore something red.”

The party was a great success, Terri added “One of our guys really enjoyed the day, and said that he loves tea and cakes. All had a great day, and enjoyed the fun”
