The freedom to choose your own lifestyle |
The Regard Partnership is committed to empowering people with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs to live the lives they choose. We will support you in choosing activities you like such as looking after your own house, developing and maintaining life skills, travelling independently and having personal relationships.
You will be able to choose what name you use, what you wear and eat, and the style of where you live. You pick your own friends and partner, and invite them home if you wish,
You will also be involved in making decisions that affect you, your personal care and support, and where you live. You can play an active part in the local community, and choose how you spend your time with a weekly activity plan.
The Regard Partnership gives you the right to privacy in your own room and to use any shared rooms in your home, as well as the freedom to make a complaint and to have access to independent support.

Flexible and personalised support
The Regard Partnership empowers Service Users to shape their own lives and the services they receive in all care and support settings, whether it be supported living, domiciliary care or residential care.
The people we support are central to this process; we ensure that we work with the individual to put in place a plan of care and support that is driven by Service Users. Individualised support is tailored to fit individual need and the achievement of personal outcomes.
In addition, we work closely with Commissioners and Regulators, Care Managers and the local community to deliver the highest quality of care and support. In conjunction with Service Users, we make the most of opportunities for community integration and transition to more independent lifestyles, provided at a pace that suits the individual.
Over the years we have built up an excellent reputation for working in partnership to provide quality services. We currently offer services to local authorities in England and Wales and are members of the Welsh Alliance for Citizen Directed Support. This alliance includes members from local authorities and provider companies in Wales, who are passionate about delivering services that enable individuals to reach their full potential in a person-centred environment.
