Support Worker (Full-Time, Part Time & Zero Hours)
Children’s Services - Holbeach
Support Worker (Full Time & Zero Hours) working with children with learning disabilities and / or behaviour difficulties. Candidates will be required to work as a member of a staff team to provide young people in the residential setting with the necessary support, care and guidance. To act as a positive role model in a professional parenting capacity. A full clean driving licence is an essential requirement for this position. A NVQ qualification is desirable, but training will be provided. This position is subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure.

Candidates will be required to support individuals in their home environment as well as in the local community. Zero Hours Support Workers needed to work in the Bury St Edmunds/Suffolk area for a Domiciliary Care Agency which supports adults with Learning Disabilities. You will be required to develop and implement Service User’s care-plans. To act as a key worker, working within an identified key worker role. To escort Service Users to external activities inc. GP appointments, hospital visits, etc. To assist our Service Users with clinical care and financial support. Full training will be provided to successful candidates. Candidates need to be 21 or over. Support Workers - Zero Hours (may include sleep-ins) required in a residential home in Sudbury, Suffolk, supporting Service Users with mild/moderate Learning Disabilities in all areas of their daily lives, including personal care, accessing local colleges and day centres, trips out including cinema, meals out, swimming, pubs etc.
