Regional Director - Wales
We seek a Regional Director to be responsible for our Wales Region and to join our national ‘Operations Senior Management Team.’
The role will encompass numerous services in both North & South Wales in relation to the provision of Regard’s services across an expanding portfolio of operations involved in care and support in Supported Living, Residential and/or outreach settings for adults with learning disabilities.
The role will include becoming the Responsible Individual for Wales through CSSIW and will have ownership on all matters Quality, HR/Personnel, Finance and Sales & Marketing. The successful candidate will have a team of managers reporting to him/her and will report to Regard’s Operations Director.
The ideal candidate will have experience in successful operational management and financial performance and will ensure that our service users receive the highest possible standard of care by fully complying with CSSIW requirements. They will have strong interpersonal skills at all levels, have excellent organisational skills, be self-motivated, hardworking, enjoy a challenge and have a work ethic by which others are inspired. Welsh nationals would be preferred as would an ability to speak Welsh.
Appropriate registrations (Care Council for Wales, CSSIW etc) are a prerequisite as are the usual skill/ability sets and previous exposure to operations management (including financial review) is necessary for successful appointment to this post. Furthermore, the individual’s ability to fit in with a close knit team which not only works hard but also enjoys providing a service which is second to none is paramount!
