Support Workers
Kneller Road, Whitton, Middlesex
Support Workers, required for a residential scheme for adults with learning disabilities.
This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week, on a shift basis and we also have Part time hours available, again on a shift basis. You will need to be flexible, reliable and able to use your own initiative. Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities, including Autism, mental health needs and challenging behaviours would be desirable but is not essential. An NVQ Level 2 in Social Health and Care (or working towards one) is also desirable but again, not essential as training will be given. A full, clean UK driving licence is a necessity as are good IT, written and numeracy skills.
The successful candidate will be required to apply for a Disclosure at the Enhanced Level from the Criminal Records Bureau. Further information can be obtained from www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk

Full time, Part time and Bank Support Workers, required for residential and supported living schemes for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries. Positions are based in Services within the M25 plus one specialist ABI service in Gillingham.
As well as having a caring nature, you will need to be flexible, reliable and able to use your own initiative. Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities/mental health/ABI needs would be advantageous. An NVQ Level 2 in Social Health and Care (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential as training will be given. This may vary dependent on role available.
