At Regard, we take the learning and development of our staff very seriously. It is important that everyone is aware of the company’s expectations and are able to perform all of their roles expertly and confidently. We want our staff to have a career at Regard, grow and develop with us.

Our comprehensive e-learning provides all Regard employees with their legislative and compliance training, including the Care Certificate, in an easily accessible way. It can be accessed via a computer or tablets and mobile phones through our e-learning app. This means that everyone has the opportunity to learn and refresh wherever is most convenient for them.

All staff can access their training records, certificates and receive reminders that refreshers are due, through our Learning Management System (LMS). A full range of face to face learning can also be accessed via our Training Calendar and includes Basic Life Support as well as masterclasses in Medication Administration, Safeguarding and MCA & DoLS. We also have a wide range of 25+ specific workshops to help our staff develop the capabilities and expertise to care for the individuals we support. These include learning about Epilepsy, Diabetes, Dementia, Autism and Prada Willi Syndrome, to name a few.

At Regard, we are committed to spotting our ‘stars’ and growing leaders of the future through our range of leadership development programmes. We aim to give everyone the opportunity for a career pathway with us. We also offer a wide range of Apprenticeship (RQF) qualifications which all staff can access in Health and Social Care, Leading in Adult Care, Leadership and Management, Business Administration and Customer Service.
