Current Profile of Service: The property is a detached house in its own grounds with large communal areas in a quiet residential street. The service has enclosed grounds with a sensory garden and activity room.

Hours Provided: The service has staff on site throughout the day with 2 waking night staff. Additional staffing is on a 1:1 basis based on assessed needs of an individual.

Focus of Service: Inglewood is situated next to a Supported Living service, which offers the opportunity to move on from Residential to Supported living. We support individuals to maintain and develop relationships, helping people to make decisions which keep them safe, whilst achieving their goals and aspirations.

    Inglewood House is an attractive and spacious 1950’s semi detached property with a large private rear sensory garden, located in a quiet residential area in Camberley near local travel links. The accommodation is spread across two floors with a stair lift which enables easy access to the first floor; each of the twelve bedrooms has the benefit of being situated in such manner that it lends itself to optimum privacy. The home has one fitted bathroom and two fitted shower rooms. All of the individual rooms are personalized to accommodate the person’s sensory needs.

    • Offer the opportunity for people to be involved in our service user based awareness training which includes awareness on speaking up, saying no to abuse and how to make a complaint

    The Manager Liz Hayes has 37 years experience in the care sector and currently holds NVQ level 4. The team has over 100 years experience in the care sector all with extensive training in the care of learning disabilities, dementia, and end of life care. The service provides a purpose built sensory unit for service users with complex needs and dementia. All staff are trained in and aware of the Mental Capacity Act and the Depravation of Liberty Protocols.

    Individuals are actively encouraged to take part in the recruitment of staff, telling us what qualities they would like their staff to have, ask candidates questions about how they would support them and we actively encourage involvement from the circle of support in our service delivery.
