Type of Service: Residential.
Age Range: 18 - 50 years
Current Profile of Service: The service staff team are trained in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, other mental health needs and complex behaviours. Individuals are supported to live independent lives to the best of their ability, learn new skills for life and remain socially included in the local community.
Hours Provided: There is a registered manager at the service and 24-hour support with waking night staff.
Focus of Service: Our services are focused around the individual, enabling them to make their own choices and live the lives they choose. Individuals are assisted in positive risk taking so that they actively increase their confidence and move towards their goals in achievable milestones. We encourage individuals to access and take part in leisure activities and enable them to build up their skills by accessing educational and employment opportunities where possible.
People viewed the staff as caring and relatives were made to feel welcome when they visited. People’s independence and choices were supported and their dignity and privacy were respected.
