At our Acquired Brain Injury service Livingstone Road, Gillingham, some fury friends have recently started coming to visit.

Everyone who lives at the service has enjoyed getting involved in walking and playing with the dogs.

Mark, who is supported by the service said “I like to walk with them, it gives me purpose to go outside for a walk”.

Service Manager, Charlotte says “their faces light up when we have visits from our fuzzy pals Lola and Buddy! They always offer to take the dogs on a walk, even if they didn’t want to go out originally.”

Jason, who also lives at Livingstone Road said “They make me happy in every way, I enjoy taking them for walks”.

GA said “I like it. I used to have a dog and I enjoy being around them. I would like them to be around more often. Buddy is my favourite because I like bigger dogs.”

David said “the dogs are cool, I like them.”

Charlotte and the team at Livingstone Road enjoy seeing how much the people they support all enjoy getting involved and spending that time with the dogs and plan on having Lola and Buddy come to visit more often.
