Caeronnen, our supported living service in Wales, held a cake sale and talent show to raise money for Epilepsy action last week.

The decision to do a talent show and cake sale came from the people supported at Caeronnen. Everyone who entered made a donation, the entries included singing and telling jokes. Everyone also enjoyed the cakes very much.

The service was decorated with purple balloons and everyone was involved in decorating ready for the day, everyone who attended also dressed in purple. Katie, the service manager at Caeronnen said “we had lots of fun, laughter and singing.”

The day was a huge success and raised £60 for Epilepsy action. Phillip Lee, chief executive of Epilepsy Action, said: “It’s fantastic to see so many people nationwide turning their world purple to raise funds for Epilepsy Action. We couldn’t do what we do without the help of people like this.”

Specialism: The service supports adults with Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health, or ABI, substance misuse issues or with a history of substance misuse
