This weekend, Lambourne House enjoyed getting involved with Regard’s Afternoon Tea Week 2018.

Across Regard, a number of services have been hosting tea parties to raise money for Shelter.

The staff and people who live at Lambourne House utilised the opportunity to host a party. Service Manager, Karen invited friends from neighbouring Regard service Harwich House for the afternoon.

The tea party included lots of delicious food prepared by the Lambourne team.

Andrew, who lives at Lambourne House said “party, fun, cake.”

There was face-painting, which Jeffery and Alan enjoyed getting involved with.

To raise money for Shelter there was also a tombola stall, guess the name of the teddy and lots of delicious cake people could purchase.

Deputy Manager Julie brought along her daughter and grand-daughter, who helped to raise money on the tombola stall.

Karen said “The party went really well, we raised £47.20.”

Kitty, Regard’s corporate representative from Shelter said “It is only with the incredible support from individuals and companies like you that we can continue to help even more people find a safe place to call home. “

Senior Support Worker Vicky said “A lovely enjoyable afternoon spent with friends, lovely to see everyone joining in and having fun”
