Across Regard, a number of services are hosting fundraising events for Shelter, Regard’s nominated charity of the year.

Inglewood House welcomed many guests to their tea party event, this included friends from neighbouring Regard services Middle Gordon Road and Gordon Avenue.

As well as these visitors, three guests joined from the Kingston office and the people who live at Inglewood House enjoyed playing hosts to them on their tables.

Nigel and Tony enjoyed having Julia Watts, Benefits Manager on their table. Julia said “I spent an enjoyable afternoon with everyone at Inglewood House. It was great to meet the people we support and to spend time with them. It was evident that Liz and her team, had spent time in producing epic sandwiches, home-made scones and cakes.”

Stephen very much enjoyed having Wai Fun who works in the IT department on his table.

Mary and Peter enjoyed having Diana Walles, Marketing Officer sit with them, she said “It’s the first time I’ve visited Inglewood House, and I was impressed at how lovely it was. I shared a table with four of the people we support, and we enjoyed a delicious tea, with freshly warmed scones, clotted cream and pots of coffee.

“It was so lovely to meet the people who live there, and to see how well supported they are, with staff genuinely caring so much for them.”
