The team at our Outcomes With Learning (OWL) Day service at Cerrig Camu held a coffee morning to shed light and help raise awareness and money for mental health. The people they support were able to help decorate and bake some treats for everyone who attended the event with help from staff.
Darren, the OWL services Activities Co-ordinator, said, ‘We even made our own green tomato chutney using tomatoes from our polytunnel. The event was open to friends and family of the people we support, which resulted in a great turn out. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and practice their social skills.’
A total of £64.26 was raised on the day; a great team effort from everyone at OWL Cerrig Camu.
