Each year the team at OWL (Outcomes with Learning) Town Farm Workshop are invited to the ‘Larmer Tree Musical Festival’ to exhibit and sell in their ‘artists’ quarter’, and this year was no different where they got to sell a selection of their many artistic products.

In the lead-up to the event, a couple of ladies from the festival held an arts and craft workshop at TFW. Helen, who leads the team at TFW, said ‘this was such a great and fun workshop thoroughly enjoyed by all and we even got a mention in the festival programme’.

The stall was manned throughout the festival by Corinna and Jon, tutors at TFW, plus each day two or three of our artists were supported by staff to attend the festival and work on the stall; this helped boost the sales of leather, weaving, ceramics, and plants. A total of £440 was raised at the festival; proceeds from the sales were then split 50/50 with the artist and the enterprise.

Helen concluded ‘Most importantly the members of TFW who attended ‘Larmer Tree’ and worked on our pitch in the Artists Quarter, got to experience the amazing music, comedy, workshops, sights and sounds, delicious food and drink that were on offer. Tracy (a lady we support at TFW) pitched up her tent too, as she does each year – this one being blessed with beautiful sunshine’.
